Stonehenge

Stonehenge Stonehenge is a building built in the Bronze Age, and Neolithic. It lies adjacent to Amesbury in Wiltshire, England, about 13 kilometers northwest of Salisbury. As one of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is an upright stone circle that is within the scope of the ground wall. There is a dispute about the actual age of the stone circle, but most archaeologists estimate that the building was erected between 3,000 BC and 2,000 BC. In 2008, radiocarbon dating showed that the first stone was erected between 2400 and 2200 BC. While other theories indicate that the blue stone (bluestone) was established around 3,000 BC. The mound of earth and the circular moat around it, is a marker of the early stages of the construction of the monument. The dates obtained from the feature are about 3,100 BC.
