Olga Syahputra

Olga Syahputra was born with the original name Yoga Saputra, February 8, 1983 in Jakarta. Comedian with characteristic of this graceful body is the first child of seven brothers pair Nur Rachman and Nurhida. Before plunging into the entertainment world, he came from a family less well.

Eldest of the 7 brothers Nur Rahman and Nurshida couple was originally just a fan who often ask for autographs and photos with his idol. Luck came when he was offered to play in the movie Lenong Bocah. Unfortunately this Javanese-Minang blooded man is required to participate in the training first in Sanggar Ananda. Having no money, Olga was forced to sell the refrigerator to pay for the course at Ananda Studio. Olga's best friend, Bertrand Antolin, who then lent a hand out by buying Olga a new refrigerator. 

While active in Ananda Studio, Olga also often shoots despite minor roles. Olga has also been an assistant singer Rita Sugiarto. Olga's perseverance brings sweetness. After playing a role in the soap opera Kawin Gantung and Si Yoyo, Olga became the presenter Ngidam on SCTV along with Jeremy Thomas. Olga also played in the comedy Do not Cium Gue and followed by the ABG Extravaganza in 2005 her name became known. His name actually rebounded in early 2007 after joining two colleagues Indra Bekti and Indy Barends at Ceriwis Trans TV show.

After no longer a presenter of the show Ceriwis, Olga bring Online show on Trans TV with Jeng Kellin and Ayu Dewi. Starting in 2008, Olga became a TV presenter of the Dahsyat music show at RCTI station alongside Luna Maya and Raffi Ahmad. Olga has also been a player in Opera Van Java Trans7 from 2008-2010. In the same year Olga started playing at Sahur show on Trans TV since 2008-2014. Then proceed at Pesbukers ANTV event with Jessica Iskandar, Raffi Ahmad and other players.

In addition to being a presenter, he also starred in several widescreen films, including Cinta Babi Ngepet scandal and Mau Lagi. The Movie Mau Lagi was previously banned and can not be outstanding. But after renaming to Cintaku Selamanya, this movie was given permission to be circulated. Not satisfied just being a presenter and movie star, Olga began to explore the world of drag votes. Olga has released two singles, Hancur Hatiku (2009) and Do Not Disturb Me Again (2010), both of which are songs by Charly Setia Band with Nagaswara label.

During his career in the entertainment world Olga also won awards as the Favorite Favorite Show Variety Show Music and Favorite Comedian in the Panasonic Awards 2009 and Panasonic Gobel Awards 2010 broadcast on RCTI, TPI (now MNC TV), and Global TV.

In April 2014, Olga Syahputra suffered from an inflammation of the lining of brain membrane that Olga had previously reported to be cancerous to suspicion of having a witchcraft, as seen from the headache and the continued decline of body resistance from day to day. Olga was hospitalized in Pondok Indah Hospital, and since the condition has not improved, Olga had time to do medicine in Germany, before finally decided to do the treatment in Singapore.

On March 27, 2015, Olga died at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore because of the meningitis disease she had suffered. Before he died, Olga had twice reportedly died but all that proved to be false news. NET. was the first television station to preach Olga's death by presenting a call directly from Olga's manager Mak Vera along with Vannico Soekarno's Entertainment News Update presenters. His death had become trending topic worldwide on twitter with the tag #RIPOlgaSyahputra. That same night, Trans TV was the first television station to make a tribute show for Olga at the Late Night Show. His funeral procession went berserk because many people wanted to take him to his final resting place. After burial, the tomb of Olga visited by many pilgrims until once rumored ambles.

Had circulated news on Facebook that Olga's real name is Bambang Nurman, not Yoga Syahputra as has been known to many people. This happened when one of his older siblings saw the high school yearbook of Culture, which contained Olga-like photographs and the same birth date as Olga. Olga's father immediately clarified the news, saying that Olga's real name was Yoga Syahputra, not Bambang Nurman.
